Montclair Lions, DIST 24-A, Dumfries, VA

The Montclair Lions is a service organization, chartered in Prince William County VA, dedicated to improving our community and helping others in need. Through fundraising and volunteering our time we seek to aid the visually handicapped and hearing impaired, sponsor youth programs, and provide support to the local community. We raise funds to purchase eyeglasses, hearing aids and examinations for those unable to afford these services. We support the District 24-A sight and hearing vans to screen students at the elementary schools, provide scholarship awards to young adults demonstrating a strong commitment to community service, we also provide health and welfare assistance to the area’s needy through contributions to Prince William County’s Action in the Community through Service (ACTS), Dumfries/Woodbridge Boys and Girls Club, Special Olympics, Anne Ludwig School, and St. Francis House.
